• Device Tokens: Expo push notification tokens to send you birthday reminders.
• Analytics Data: Anonymous usage events (sign-ups, logins) are collected. We do not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.
• Crash Data: Basic diagnostic information if the app crashes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the birthday reminder service.
• To send you push notifications when a birthday is approaching (according to your reminder preferences).
• To display your contacts' birthdays and photos within the app.
• To improve the app through anonymized analytics.
• To communicate with you about service-related issues.

3. Data Storage & Security

• Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption.
• All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS.

4. Third-Party Services

• Google & Apple: Used for authentication. We only receive the information you authorize (name, email, profile picture).
• Expo Push Notifications: Delivers push notifications to your device.
• RevenueCat: Processes any in-app purchases if you choose to subscribe to premium features. RevenueCat does not share payment details with us.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and birthday data for as long as you maintain an active account. You may delete your account at any time, which will remove all associated data.

6. Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your data within the app.
• Correction: You can edit any birthday or account information within the app.
• Deletion: You can delete individual birthday entries or your entire account at any time.
• Data Portability: Contact us to receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Opt-out: You can disable push notifications in your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Dot is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
